On Wednesday, January 14th, we will be screening the documentary Positiv – the History of HIV in Norway. A panel of survivors will discuss the movie right after the screening. The movie is in Norwegian, with English subtitles, the panel will be conducted in English.

Survivors share their experiences from living with HIV in the 1980s and -90s and give us an important insight into what it was like to receive a death sentence. This is a story about stigma, secrecy, exclusion, and anxiety. But equally as important, it is also a story about solidarity, community, political engagement, and the fight to live – and about a younger generation choosing to live without fear.
This screening is possible thanks to MAC Cosmetics, and their talented make-up artist will be present and offers Viva Glam tutorials to all our guests from 17.00 on the top floor of Vega kino.
